Or “Listen to these today because they were part of the Divination process and you will like them” blog post.
So if you follow along on Facebook or Tumblr or, pick your media outlet that I’m on, you will realize that this is a re-posting of today’s message. Monday November 4, 2013, Queen of Wands. However, Instagram and the like don’t allow me to always link up things in the way that I would like, for instance adding programs or embedding material that might be relevant to the post for me, my little Mercury’s that were part of the message I received.
First the re-post, and then following I added a few podcasts and some photos as “consideration” to take the short-term thinking into long-term strategizing. I also don’t have a whole hell-of-a-lot of time so here we go…
57 Days remain, 78 Cards in our Tarot Journey.
“Queen of the Thrones of Flame
Water of Fire
Pisces and Aires
Mysteries of Bacchus.”
– Hermetic Tarot, Fortitude
How we conduct ourselves is of utmost important. Moving like big Cat in the Wild(e) our ears turning, whiskers sensing, paws stepping just so, proceed with caution… to note the signs, the smells, the environment. This is our moment to read omens, realizing that True Halloween, aka the cross quarter is astrologically the 6th of November so note that veils are still thin and as a friend said to me in a collaborative channel rap-session on the street -yes that’s two people pulling on the same message, seeing, hearing… awesome- yes. Channeling on the street we say together, “Will the veil thicken again?”
Maybe we are in auspicious times. Maybe our better tools are innovation, adaptability, fluidity, and creativity. Along with respect and kindness to all living beings.
Omens, symbols, signs. Stop looking within and look about you.
Question habits, routines, tradition, and more of the previous days “MUST do’s” and “HAVE TOO.” In a time of omens, on a day of trinities, inquire more, demand less.
Adaptability. Fluidity. Ingenuity. Cunning. Respect. Awe. Yes… awe at the smallness of one individual in the unknowable vastness of the entirety of it all. Step with kindness, walk in beauty.
“It is a law of nature we overlook, that intellectual versatility is the compensation for change, danger, and trouble. An animal perfectly in harmony with its environment is a perfect mechanism. Nature never appeals to intelligence until habit and instinct are useless. There is no intelligence where there is no change and no need of change. Only those animals partake of intelligence that have a huge variety of needs and dangers.”
― H.G. Wells, The Time Machine
Date: November 4, 2013
Cards: King of Wands
Deck: The Hermetic Tarot
Number: 3 – trinities. Find your inner Trinity, yes like The Matrix, and proceed with awe and faith, ferocity when necessary, and certainly with awesome sunglasses.
Podcast “For Your Consideration”
So here we go. Turn up the media player, or pop on some headphones, scroll through a couple of brief descriptions and listen in on a few of my favorite shows. The Visionary Activist Show, TED Talks Radio Hour, and Sounds True Insights at the Edge podcast on Spirit Guides.
Returning to Spooky Grace
Coyote Network News: Run time 1 hour.
This is a Caroline Casey podcast of her broadcast featuring portions of her talk from the Bioneers show earlier this month. I do love the Coyote Network News Hour, it is one of the few shows that actually goes dancing outside of the box and does what is probably one of the most clever things we need now, expanding dialogue beyond a hot/cold, right/wrong mentality.
I was not able to embed this particular podcast as usual but I can’t seem to find the code. Follow the links to listen at the Coyote Network News website, freeeeeeeeee, this episode, “Returning to Spooky Grace.”
Notes: Laughter, ingenuity, power of trickster, respect, cunning-power. Love.
“There is real danger of a disconnect between what’s on your business card and who you are deep inside, and it’s not a disconnect that the world is ready to be patient with.” — Alain de Botton
Success has become synonymous with financial wealth, influence and status. But can we define success in another way — one that welcomes a broader range of accomplishment? It may not be as obvious as you think. In this hour, TED speakers share ideas for what makes us successful.
I find a great value in diversity, experience, knowing not just what someone did but how they think, process and proceeded makes a lot of other things make sense. A sucker for story, this TED talk radio hour includes interviews and excerpts from Tony Robbins, How Can Drive Make You’re a Success?; Angela Duckworth, Is Having Grit the Key to Success?; and Ron Gutman, You Can Smile Your Way to Success?; Mike Rowe, Are People With Dirty Jobs The Most Successful?; and Alain de Botton, What’s a Kinder Way to Frame Success?
Sandra Ingerman & Marie Manuchehri: What are Spirit Guides?
In this special edition of Insights at the Edge, Tami Simon speaks with Marie Manuchehri and Sandra Ingerman about their experiences with spirit guides and how we might meet these helpful forces ourselves at any moment in our lives. Sandra and Marie share their perspectives on how to access information that we can trust, communication through metaphor, and how they work with spirit guides for healing in their professional practices. Sandra and Marie also share advice and recommendations for those curious about connecting with their own spirit guides.
I got to listen to this show the other day walking miss Trixie and did a lot of head nodding and “uh huh’s” listening to these three women talk about what I know to be a very real experience with Spirit Guides. Since it is the Cross Quarter on the 6th (actually) and the Veil remains thin between the worlds, this became one of the “Most appropriate” considering “Omens” and “signs.” Often the spirit world speaks to us in ways we can only see by paying attention to our environment.
Love you. Hope this finds you well. Thank you for following, posting, commenting, sharing.
I DO need and appreciate it. LOTS.
